Chloe reaches new heights

This girl is always getting herself into trouble.

Hard to believe, right?
Doesn't she look sweet.
And innocent.

Looks can be deceiving.

We've learned that if Chloe is behind closed doors, there's something fishy going on.
Chloe holds tight to the 'out of sight, out of mind' mentality.
Like yesterday when she closed the door behind herself after she went into the boys' room.
I gave her the benefit of the doubt, but after about five minutes, I go into the room and I don't see her.

"Chloe," I call out.
And then I hear, "I'm up here mom!"
I turn my head and see this...

{I know, probably should have gotten her down right away instead of pausing to grab the camera and take some pics. But would you expect any less from me?}

You may recall that she has scaled the boys' shelves before. At least, I'm pretty sure I've blogged about this very thing before, but I was unable to find it in the archives.
Regardless, the other photo I have from several months back shows that Chloe climbed to the first set of shelves before getting caught, er I mean, before stopping.

But as you can see, she's definitely reached new heights.
There's never a dull moment with Chloe around!

Yesterday I was at Ann Taylor (scanning the clearance racks for final clearance Summer tops...$10.99 or less) and I turned around to see my Eva climbing up a display shelf! Oh the horror! She had gotten to the third shelf before I grabbed her and pulled her down. None of my kids have EVER done anything like that, and the first time it happens, of course is in public!!!

That was too funny! Now, my kids....would have, err...have, done this almost same thing in their closet EXCEPT, they must pull all the things off the shelves.

The maddness!

Great post! She's so cute...it's hard not to laugh huh?

Has she been hanging around Kenna? :)
This past week was Kenna's snack at school. I put Oreo's { I know healthy ;) } in the basket and put it on the top shelf of her closet. A few days later I am getting kids in the suburban and she has her pink cowboy boot. I look in the mirror and all the kids are eating Oreos.
She climbed up, took out a handful, snuck them out in the boot and passed them out.
Good luck with Chloe. :) It won't get better.
Love that you took pictures though :) And she didn't even drop anything...Impressive!

Oh that is funny (and also scary!)--and I loved how you grabbed your camera. Any good mom would! (because you know she'll just never do it again ... right??!) haha

That's pretty high. I think I'd be scared up there!

Oh dear me!! ;) What an adventurous little cutie. It's a good thing you did pause to grab your camera, or I don't think any of us would've been able to believe you after seeing that first sweet photo! ...but the rest of the pics are absolutely PRICELESS!!! What a MONKEY! LOL!

And I LOVE your new blog design. The new photo on top is gorgeous. Did you take that?! What kind of a camera do you use? I am in the market for a DSLR. I adore all of the cute clothes you have Chloe dressed in. I think you need to email me when your baby girl outgrows them, and you should think about a virtual garage sale, and I can purchase them for my Khloe!! :)

Have a blessed weekend!

Hugs,
Tanya

Tanya...yes, I did take the photo on the top. It's my new favorite of the four kids! I have a Nikon, which I've had since 2003. Now that I'm starting to do more photography in my business, I'm thinking of upgrading to a Nikon D300, but my D70 has been great. I'd definitely recommend going with Nikon...it's hard to beat their glass! And this is coming from someone who started out with Canon back when I worked for a newspaper. Wouldn't trade my Nikon for any other brand!

As fas as Chloe's clothes, I am a bit of a fashion fanatic, so she has way too many. I'd love for your Khloe to have some of Chloe's outgrown wardrobe, really!!! What size is your Khloe now? What do you think she'll be wearing when you bring her home. Let me know...I'd love to pass some on to her!

Yikes! We all liked the photos (except Thing Two -- I didn't show him because I didn't want to give him any inspiration, shall we say)!

The boys have a very grown up wardrobe! I would be really mad if they stained something lol.
