Black & White Wednesday - Gavin

Once again, it is Black & White Wednesday over at Lisa's blog, The Long Road to China. Thank you so much Lisa for giving me an excuse to display my love of Black & White photography! It's also a lot of fun to blog hop and see what everyone else decided to capture in black & white.

This week I chose to use a photo I took about a week ago of my youngest, Gavin. He turns six months old on Jan. 31. I can hardly believe it's been six whole months since we were blessed with little Gavin Jace's birth into the world. Our family wouldn't be the same without his constant smile! Seriously, this little guy is always smiling :) What a joy God has given us through him.

I chose to make the photo very light. I think it looks angelic and serene. And to contrast, Gavin's eyes really pop and sparkle. {Click on the photo to see it larger.}

Thanks so much for stopping by!

This is going by way too fast! He's so cute. I have to ask....where did you hear of the name Jace? I have a story to tell you that name.

I love your b & w! I am so going to do this next week. I have been messing around with b & w and this will give the perfect excuse to brush up on it and see some ideas!

Thanks!

Your son Gavin's photo is so precious! Those eyes...Oh My Gosh - THOSE EYES! Thank you for stopping by our blog and saying "hello"! We were at Disney from the week of the 12th until this past Tuesday. January is by far the BEST time to be at Disney. First off - the deal Disney offered we just couldn't pass up and than the only time the parks were crowded was over MLK weekend. (we been to Disney in September, October & November in the past and by far January was the best!) I made up my mind...we only go in January! Hope you had a wonderful time as well. Can't wait to follow you & your blog along...

Sincerely,
Shelly
