Black & White Wednesday - Like a Child

I of course thank God for everyday. But I am especially thankful for days like these.

When I take the time to experience life through the eyes of a child. Those glimpses into the simple things that we grown-ups can so easily forget.

The beauty they see in what some call a weed...

The serenity of a moment spent being still on God's green earth...

The indescribable connection between a brother and a sister...

And the giggles that they share...

The joy of a little girl.

If we would only be still and know that He is God a little more often. What things He could accomplish through us, if we would only be still and let Him move.

This post brought to you by me {of course} courtesy of Black and White Wednesdays at The Long Road to China, where you can see more of life in black & white!

Your daughter is so lovely! What a great series of pictures. I think dandelions given from a child are the most beautiful flowers : ) Far more lovely than the most expensive arrangement from a fancy floral shop! Hope your day is filled with lots of happiness and a dandelion bouquet

Beautiful beautiful pictures. I especially like the sunlight in the first couple, reflecting off your little girl. So sweet, and what a darling face! It is so very important to be still and listen to what God is telling us; thank you for the reminder.

Angie, these are just amazing. I do not know how you capture their personalities the way you do, but gosh they are beautiful (the pics and the kids!) You and Jason are going to have to build a bigger hoouse just so you will have enough wall space for all of your great shots - I don't know how you could choose between them. I so look forward to your posts!
