About our family

Jason and I (Angie) were high school sweethearts and married in 2000. We have four kiddos, Gabe, Cooper, Chloe and Gavin. Our family is from Iowa but recently moved to Utah to plant a church. Redemption Church exists to help people understand the Gospel and live out their lives in a real and genuine way for Jesus. We pray this blog serves not only as a journal to document our family happenings, but also helps to share what God is doing in our lives and through our lives. To Him be the glory!

They Say the Darndest Things!

When asked what he likes most about preschool, Cooper says, "The pretty girls."
"I'm a Hottie!" - Cooper, meaning that he's hot (temperature-wise.)
Cooper: "We need to get a new garden mom!" Angie: "Why's that Cooper?" Cooper: "Because our garden is so muddy."
"I'm so exciting!" - Gabe, meaning to say, 'I'm so excited.'
"Maybe we could play at the park today, after you're done with your glob (meaning to say, 'blog.') - Gabe
Mom: "Cooper, Why aren't you doing what I asked you to do? Don't you hear me?" Cooper: "No Mom, my ears don't work so good!"
"I'm so sorry babe! You ok babe?" - Cooper, talking to Chloe when he accidentally knocked her over.
"Don't worry mom, you'll be ok while I'm at Kindergarten next year. You'll still have Cooper & Chloe." - Gabe
"I already went pee on the potty yesterday!" - Cooper
"I'm starting to think something great!" - Gabe
